A top-quality African coffee that should not be overlooked! This Tanzania AA Coffee is grown on the slopes of Mount Killiminjaro in the Mbya region. The Mbya region consists of roughly 400,000 smallholder farmers that own, on average 500 trees each. Many of these farmers practice subsistence farming methods and all their coffee is handpicked. The high quality coffees that these farmers produce are known as ‘Tweega Coffees’. This ‘Tweega Coffee’ comes exclusively from the washing stations located in the South Western Highlands from the cooperative of Tembo Coffee Company. Here, the high value crop of Tanzania AA ‘Tweega Coffee’ is sun dried, graded, and sorted at the Tembo coffee mill. The AA represents the highest grade of beans from this crop.
