Description
Organic Timor Leste - Unroasted Coffee From the mountains of Eastern Timor, this organic coffee is a classic Indo-Pacific that develops a deep flavor and distinct dark chocolate notes. When roasted, it also reveals subtle woody and herbaceous undertones, culminating in a mild finish for a truly stellar cup. Timor green coffee beans are ideal for those who prefer a darker roast because of their ability to withstand heat, due to their dense composition. Certifications: USDA Organic, OU Kosher Caffeine Level: Caffeinated Recommended Roast: Medium to Dark In East Timor-Leste, where this coffee is produced, the Cooperativa Cafe Timor employs farmers from extremely small farms across the countryside who often oversee no more than a hectare of coffee-producing farmland. The coffee crop in these high-altitude regions was originally planted by Portuguese colonists, but has changed over time, creating a new hybrid varietal with cleaner cup characteristics. The Timor varietal is a hybrid coffee that was bred for its natural resistance to diseases like coffee leaf rust. Ingredients: Organic 100% Arabica coffee beans. Organic certified by PA Certified Organic. OU Kosher certified. Produced in an SQF-certified, renewable energy-powered facility. Do not grind, brew, or consume unroasted coffee. Green coffee beans that have been purchased and used/roasted are not returnable. Due to agricultural regulations, we are unable to ship green coffee beans to Hawaii or Puerto Rico.
