Description

This exclusively Castillo variety selection comes to us from farmers Dario and Iliana Delgado and their farm, La Esperanza. Castillo is now the most common coffee variety grown in Colombia because of its resistance to leaf rust and is hybrid of Caturra and Timor. You still get a classic Colombian profile in the cup: it's got rich body, creamy texture, big chocolaty notes, and a walnut undertone. It's subtly bright with flavors of apple, stone fruit, and meyer lemon and slightly sweet with caramel notes.
